Key Account Manager — New Market Development

Based in: Delta, BC

Reports to: Western Regional Manager — Peter Thomson

Position Overview

Nuheat Inc. is a manufacturer and marketer of a premium radiant floor warming technology. We are expanding our efforts in our Head Office. To this end we are accepting applications for the position of Key Account Manager for the Market Development territory in order to significantly increase Nuheat sales and profile in American markets where it does not currently have outside sales representation.

Primary Duties

• Achieve significant new sales with current distributor base.
• Cultivate new distributors in targeted regions.
• Quarterly travel to targeted regions.
• Liaise with Northwest Sales Manager in the execution of the New Market Development plan. The thrust of the plan will be capitalizing on opportunities for immediate sales of Nuheat through currently under serviced customers and high potential new accounts.
• Day to day activities will include quote follow up, “virtual training” sessions, sales tool coordination and outbound new account calls.
• Hours will be 7:00-15:30 or 7:30-16:00 in order to adequately service the Central time zone.
• Liaise with customer service partner for customer support.

• Outbound telemarketing experience
• Superb telephone and general communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Construction/electrical knowledge also an asset

Compensation

• Will be based on successful applicant's qualifications and experience — will incorporate a base salary and lucrative commission structure.
