Combination Installation
The Nuheat Cable may be installed in combination with the Nuheat Mat system. Both systems have single leads and can be wired together to the same thermostat.
Installation Steps:
- Dry-fit and mark the perimeter of the Nuheat Mat.
- Install the Nuheat Cable Guides and the heating cable in the area to be covered by the Nuheat Cable system.
- Thinset the Nuheat Mat(s) to the subfloor.
- Cover installation with self-leveler
- Allow time to set and install flooring.
Note: There may be a noticeable temperature difference between the area heated by the Nuheat Mat system and the area heated by the Nuheat Cable system. Nuheat recommends using Nuheat custom mats as the optimal solution for custom area coverage.
